I wonder if the recent drama on distribution of Elizabeth Wong’s scandalous pictures have something to do with the current economic turmoil rather than political moves by certain quarters? Well...that's not possible (Konon2 bersangka baik lah ni) considering how crazy and immoral people might turn into, being unemployed and/or in the midst of financial crisis.

Remember the recent "headline news" on a disgruntled sacked employee who shot his ex-employer in Kajang? Seriously, thats in Malaysia you know! he.he
Back to the nude pic, fear of more embarrassing pictures from politician Elizabeth Wong’s private life being exposed to the public led the PKR leader to the difficult decision that it was better for her to go. Eli Wong is currently Bukit Lanjan assemblyman and Selangor executive councillor. Some argued that it could be her no-nonsense approach to environmental and other issues that led to someone “framing” her by circulating her scandalous pictures.
Whatever it is, we should bear in mind sabda Rasulullah s.a.w.:"Seseorang laki-laki tidak boleh melihat aurat laki-laki lain, dan begitu juga perempuan tidak boleh melihat aurat perempuan lain, dan tidak boleh seorang laki-laki bercampur dengan laki-laki lain dalam satu pakaian, dan begitu juga perempuan dengan perempuan lain bercampur dalam satu pakaian."(Riwayat Muslim, Ahmad, Abu Daud dan Tarmizi).

This is especially after knowing the man in the middle of police investigations, Hilmi Malek, a Malay and Muslim guy who claimed to be the ex-boyfriend to Eli.
Eli Wong was said to have played a prominent role in ensuring that the state government issued a blanket ban on hillside development in the state following the Bukit Antarabangsa landslide on Dec 6 2008. Oh yeah, the "SUPPOSEDLY" ban on hillside development which have been lifted by our beloved government as announced by the Work Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Zin Mohamed.
Mohd Zin, who disclosed this, said this was because the country’s population was increasing and land was needed for development. Huh, wth! Pathetic excuses again!!
Pic: The forgotten Bukit Antarabangsa tragedy?
He stressed that a total ban would be a waste of land and the government is optimistic that certain hillside development could be carried out again. Yeah, right!
I guess enough is never enough for BN huh, don't these guys ever learn? When Highland Towers collapsed in 1993, the Government banned all hillside development. However, it took only two months from the issuing of the stopwork order for hillside projects to so-called “resume with a vengeance”. After the tragic landslide occurred in the neighbouring Bukit Antarabangsa – five days short of the 15th anniversary of the Highland Towers tragedy, the Government had again called for a banning of all hillside developments....until the recent expected announcement! Hmm...don't tell me this is part of government's long-term, proactive, comprehensive and strategic moves amid the current economic slowdown.
Unless perhaps...
Sian kat kroni, business slow sangat kot? Almaklum la banyak pilihanraya kecil coming up - the likely "tiga bukit" and do not forget pemilihan parti pun dah dekat! ...;P hohoho...
